SiteHound Inspection Software delivers a product offering directly targeting the needs of field inspectors by improving the efficiency, flexibility, adaptability, and overall quality of inspection reports and the processes used by field inspectors to complete their reports. SiteHound leverages desktop and mobile technologies including laptops, tablet PCs, PDAs, and smartphones to find the best integration of features, flexibility, and mobility.
SiteHound Desktop
SiteHound Desktop is a single-user desktop-based inspection management product licensed per-user and used to manage inspection checklist templates, maintain a comment library, manage inspection data files, link pictures, and produce reports.
- Inspection templates can be created for any type of field inspection using the template editor and can be modified as necessary for adapting the inspection process to new needs or requirements.
- A comment library can be managed by inspectors in order to pre-define conditions, comments, findings, and recommendations that can be selected and automatically added to inspection reports through a short series of clicks on a mobile device.
- Inspection data files are created, modified, and reviewed using the inspection editor and can be synchronized with mobile devices using USB, Infrared, or Bluetooth connections between a PC or laptop and a mobile device.
- Linking pictures to inspection items using SiteHound Desktop allows an inspector to emphasize conditions and findings.
- Report templates produce different types of professional reports based on the inspection data files, such as a detailed inspection report or a summary of findings report. Reports are generated as PDF documents for printing, electronic distribution and storage, e-mailing, or publishing to a web site.

SiteHound Mobile
SiteHound Mobile is the mobile device software used by the field inspectors for collecting data and documenting findings in the field. SiteHound Mobile guides an inspector through the inspection process using a checklist format, allowing the inspector to easily document conditions and record findings using built-in handwriting recognition or embedded keyboards. The mobile software minimizes time to document findings by allowing the inspector to select from a library of pre-defined narratives or comments. SiteHound Mobile is built on the Microsoft Windows Mobile operating system and can be run on a multitude of mobile devices including PDAs and the new smartphones. SiteHound Mobile's interface adapts to the type of device being used and displays data most efficiently regardless of screen size (PDA or smartphone) and orientation of the screen (portrait or landscape).
